Why should you pay a premium price for a personal training service when you can get a cheaper trainer somewhere else?

  • Education and experience

I am certified through ISSA, AAAI/ISMA, and a, working on two other certifications that are among the most respected in the business. I worked as a PTA for over 2 years and have a firm grasp of efficient human movement.

Having said that, certifications are a dime a dozen. My training experience is from 1998 to the present day. I have testimonials in the menu above from recent clients, I have worked with almost every population imaginable, and my methods are adaptable to fit the needs of a wide variety of people.

  • All-inclusive

You don’t just get the days in the gym with me, I set you up for success away from the training sessions. I provide nutritional services that show you how to eat for your goals. I provide workouts away from the gym that help you reach your goal and I hold you accountable to them.

If you need help food shopping because you are not sure how to shop for a healthy lifestyle, I will go with you to the store to walk you through it all and explain how to read food labels. If you need help with meal prep, we can set up a time to go over how to effectively manage your time in the kitchen.

All of that is included with the training price.

  • Accountability

I text you, I email you, I stay on top of you to ensure you are getting your workouts in, I require tracking sheets from you (which I provide) to help you with your eating habits and make sure the amount of food you are eating is going to take you to your chosen goal. I teach you correct form, I reinforce that with every session, and the eating habits you learn with me can be used for life to help you stay on your path.

  • Superb facility

City Gym KC is loaded with power racks, dumbbells, medicine balls, kettlebells, TRX straps, sleds, and much more. We have a large turf area and an environment in which you will fall in love with the process to getting great results. Whatever your training goal is, City Gym can accommodate it.

  • Selective

I will be honest and say I don’t take on just any client. I value my time just as much as you value your time and money. I don’t want to be in the gym 10 hours a day with 8-10 different clients. I want my time in the gym, and my client time, to be meaningful and personal. I don’t believe I am just a trainer, I am a coach at heart. My job is to teach and I have found that my job is better when I streamline my client base. I prefer quality over quantity. When we meet and chat it is a “feel out” process where we discuss your goals, your needs, your lifestyle, how you want to change to hit those goals. It is determining if our personalities mesh well together so you enjoy your time with me. The worst thing is to invest money in a trainer only to find out you can’t stand being around them.

If we hit it off well enough, we move forward.

I want commitment and dedication from you. I know we all have bad days, we don’t always follow the plan 100%; I get that, this is life and we don’t exist in a vacuum. That isn’t failure. Failure is giving up. All I ever ask of people is if they have a setback for a day or two, they jump back up and go forward. That is how you make things happen and that is how you become victorious in both training and life.
