Training day 07-21-2013

I love Sunday. Its when I go to the gym and spend the better part of the afternoon squatting. I take my time, hit a ton of volume and then go home to eat like a just fought a rampaging horde of Huns.

Its my altar, I kind of dig it.

BOX SQUAT
Set 1: 135 lbs × 3
Set 2: 135 lbs × 3
Set 3: 185 lbs × 3
Set 4: 185 lbs × 3
Set 5: 225 lbs × 3
Set 6: 225 lbs × 3
Set 7: 275 lbs × 3
Set 8: 315 lbs × 3
Set 9: 335 lbs × 3
Set 10: 335 lbs × 3
Set 11: 335 lbs × 3
Set 12: 335 lbs × 3

These were fast, furious and awesome. I am enjoying the box squats and what they do for me. Fixing form, hitting my posterior chain hard and just plain fucking fun.

SUMO GOOD MORNINGS
Set 1: 155 lbs × 10
Set 2: 155 lbs × 10
Set 3: 155 lbs × 10

LEG PRESS
Set 1: 360 lbs × 20
Set 2: 360 lbs × 20
Set 3: 360 lbs × 20

PULL THROUGHS
Set 1: 150 lbs × 15
Set 2: 150 lbs × 15
Set 3: 150 lbs × 15

Cable pull throughs. I put the ass in A.S.S. with these.

30 seconds on, 3o seconds off for 5 cycles.

BAND PULL APARTS WITH MEDIUM BAND
Set 1: 75 reps

LEG PRESS CALF RAISES
Set 1: 180 lbs × 15
Set 2: 180 lbs × 20
Set 3: 180 lbs × 20

Great workout, legs feel like jello and I am about to destroy some food like its my job.

Its a 600+ carb day for me. Its almost like I run out of food choices to inhale.

Its a good problem to have.
