Training day 05-06-2013

There are days when I go to the gym and get a stupid idea.

Today was that day when my stupidity overruled my head and said “let’s do 100 reps on almost every-fucking-thing”.

This was after the main chest movements, which ANOTHER crazy idea came about and decided to do one arm DB Flyes.

Talk about a core workout with that. You think you have strong abs? Do Flyes with one hand and tell me if you do.

DUMBBELL INCLINE BENCH
Set 1: 50 lbs × 12
Set 2: 50 lbs × 8
Set 3: 100 lbs × 12
Set 4: 100 lbs × 12
Set 5: 100 lbs × 12
DUMBBELL FLIES
Set 1: 40 lbs × 12
Set 2: 40 lbs × 12
Set 3: 40 lbs × 12
Let the pump and burn begin…
BAND PULLDOWNS WITH MEDIUM BAND
Set 1: 100SIDE LATERALS
Set 1: 10 lbs × 100

DB SHRUGS
Set 1: 50 lbs × 100
ROPE PRESSDOWNS
Set 1: 50 lbs × 100
The good thing is that this is somewhat rehabilitative, the bad thing is that the area I am REALLY rehabbing doesn’t get the effects of this.
Meanwhile my right arm looks awesome and my left arm is hanging out in a Robocop type of brace weeping until he is allowed to come out and play with the rest of the class.
